The approval of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is starting to improve the quality of health care for every American. After being passed into law last February of this year, the milestones are continuing to increase and the transparency and accountability are having a positive impact on every American. Fifty-nine billion dollars will be spent for health care and most of it will be for health reform including health insurance. As President Barack Obama promised, the stimulus act will save millions of dollars and countless lives.
Americans who would lose or have lost their jobs would normally also lose their health insurance but with the help of the American recovery and Reinvestment Act, they can have subsidized health care. The costs of health care that have burdened Americans in the past years will be stabilized. The key investments will lower health spending.
The affordability of health care for millions of Americans is starting to take its course. During this recession, millions of dollars will be spent for medical assistance. Those Americans who would lose their job would be able to keep their health insurance through COBRA or the Consolidated Omnibus Reconciliation Act. Indeed recovery and change is starting to happen for all Americans.
